I love reading poems, and naturally, I tried my hand in writing a few poems. My first attempts were, of course, full of mistakes. Finally, I thought I did much better with this poem. Only a few lines, but I kind of enjoyed it myself. I wrote it in the year 2000, when I was in Class 12. Check it out!
Cyber World
Sitting before the desktop, information-hungry,
Chasing the cat to save my mouse,
Ignoring my brother’s comment who said,
“Spare the chips, they aren’t edible”,
I looked out through Windows 98,
And caught information using the Internet,
Like a fisherman using his fishing net.
