He is a fantastic photographer, and I have always been a great fan of his pictures. It was hence no surprise that this particular photograph inspired me to write a poem after two years. It was Amalava's fantastic idea, and I am really grateful to him to have allowed me to use his photo in my blog. I hope I get inspired each time I look at his photos :-)
Past the rush hour
The day is seen
The peaks conquered
Land, water and air trailblazed
As you set, O Mighty Sun
So do we, with no remorse
Because when you rise tomorrow
Out of the shade
Will emerge the young blood
To see the day
Conquer the peaks
