A Swedish Fall

Another great snap from Amalava (no surprises here) and another poem from me. Let us know your thoughts. And do check out Amalava's own poem for this snap in the tags. It rocks :-)

In the Court of Lady Fall

Standing close to Her mighty throne,
Reveling in the milieu of Her majestic castle,
I kneel down before Her to offer her my greetings,
And I ask her alacrity personified,
"Overjoyed will be this subject
to understand the meaning of your name.
Does it betoken the fall of heaven to earth?
Is it to glorify the fall of the Year?
Or indicate the golden showers from your mighty sentinels?
Or perhaps to signify the many young men,
who fall for your charm every year?
Dear Lady, if every fall is as magnificent as you,
I would rather fall in my vain attempts,
To be the King of the Silicon Jungle"
Answered are my greetings with a milky fog,
An acknowledgement to my presence,
And that my friends,
Is a Worshipper's day at Her Court.
